Doosan Magazine GQ

    GQ Korea for the iPad has been developed with Doosan Magazine, the Korean agency that publishes the Korean edition of this trend-setting top class magazine. While most other domestic digital magazines are simply PDF versions of the hardcopy, the GQ Korea digital magazine offers a whole new experience to the user. It offers a wide variety of content from videos, audios to slide shows along with innovative interactive features that put GQ Korea on the digital map with a unique and distinctive identity.
     
    새로운 시대를 리드하는 세계 톱 클래스 매거진 GQ의 한국판을 발간하고 있는 두산 매거진과 iOS를 기반으로 GQ Korea 아이패드 매거진을 제작했습니다. 단순히 PDF를 스캔한 국내 디지털 매거진과는 차별화된 GQ Korea 디지털 매거진은 사용자에게 새로운 경험을 제공합니다. 다양한 컨텐츠(동영상, 음성, 슬라이드 쇼 등)와 실험적인 인터랙션을 제공하여 디지털 매거진의 특징과 차별화된 GQ Korea 만의 아이덴티티로 포지셔닝 하였습니다.

Samsung Everland Guide

    The ‘Everland Guide’ was developed to offer users the opportunity to experience Everland, one of the world’s four major theme parks, in the palm of their hands. It is a Location-based service (LBS) that gives information on five major features that include, guides to rides, attractions and performances, information on wait time for rides, recommended courses, maps, and ‘My Page’ where you can customize information. The real-time ride wait time service is one of the most popular services as it allows Everland visitors to enjoy the expansive theme park to the fullest.
     
    ‘세계 4대 테마파크로 꼽히는 에버랜드를 이제 손 안에서 느끼게 해주자’라는 목표로 시작된 ‘에버랜드 가이드(Everland Guide)'는 위치기반서비스(LBS, Location Based Service) 기술을 기반으로 놀이시설 및 공연안내, 지도보기, 대기시간, 추천코스, 마이페이지 등 크게 5가지 주요 서비스로 구성되어 있고, 특히 대기시간 안내 서비스는 놀이기구 대기시간을 실시간으로 안내해 넓은 에버랜드를 효과적으로 즐길 수 있어서 사용자들이 가장 즐겨 사용하는 서비스로 애용하고 있습니다.

Samsung Digital Imaging S10 & E10

    Tangram Design Lab is working closely with the Samsung Electronics Digital Imaging business division to build brand identities for cameras and camcorders that are being launched by Samsung Electronics. One of them, the ultra small pocket camcorder HMX-E10 has a full LCD touch screen on the front and although it might not resemble the typical camcorder, it was designed to give the feel of a regular camera when you hold it in your hand. Meanwhile, the full HD premium camcorder ‘HMX-S16’ was designed with a simple intuitive interface that allows easy access to its wide range of premium functions including 3D motion.
     
    탱그램디자인연구소는 삼성전자 디지털이미징 사업부와 지속적인 협업을 통해 삼성전자에서 출시되는 카메라 및 캠코더의 브랜드 아이덴티티를 구축하는 작업을 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 초소형 포켓 캠코더 ‘HMX-E10’은 전면부가 LCD로 덮여있는 점을 이용하여 실제 그립감을 느끼는 듯한 감성을 전달하기 위해 실제 카메라의 그립부와 같은 느낌으로 디자인되었고, Full HD 프리미엄 캠코더 ‘HMX-S16’ 같은 경우에는 최고급 프리미엄 캠코더의 특징을 고려하여 3D 모션 및 인터페이스와 가젯(Gadget) 중심의 친근한 인터페이스로 디자인 하였습니다.

Samsung Techwin EZ View & Hybrid DVD

    The EZ Viewer and Hybrid DVR were developed through collaborations with Samsung Techwin. Preliminary studies on the Central Management System (CMS) interface for security cameras have enabled a comprehensive management of camera channels, while diverse search and play functions have made the devices easier to use than ever before. In addition to this, unique additional features such as the thumbnail viewer, bookmark search function, the simple interface menu that can be remotely controlled, and easy backup settings allow the user to set up a stable and secure system in mid-sized to large security environments.
     
    삼성테크윈과 협업한 EZ Viewer와 Hybrid DVR은 보안 카메라 관리 소프트웨어(CMS) 인터페이스에 대한 선행연구로, 카메라 채널의 통합관리가 가능하고, 다양한 검색 및 재생 기능으로 사용 편의성을 크게 강화시켰습니다. 특히, 간편한 썸네일 뷰, 북마크 검색, 리모트컨트롤을 활용한 편리한 인터페이스 메뉴, 간단한 백업 설정 등 차별화된 부가기능은 중대형 시큐리티 환경에서 안정적인 시스템 구축을 가능하게 합니다.

Samsung STB (Google TV)

    The world’s number one TV manufacturer Samsung Electronics has developed Google TV that runs on the Google TV operating system in collaboration with Tangram Design Lab. Samsung Electronics has developed and is currently operating the world’s first TV application store ‘Samsung Apps’. When the TV that runs on the Google OS is finally developed, vast opportunities are expected for applications that would run on TVs, PCs, and smart phones. For this project, that is based on the existing Google TV OS, a new design was developed to incorporate the identity of Samsung Electronics. This project offers distinctive services such as Samsung’s media sharing services including ALLSHARE and DAILY BRIEF.
     
    세계 1위 TV업체인 삼성전자가 구글의 운용체계(OS)를 적용한 구글TV 개발을 탱그램디자인연구소와 함께 하였습니다. 현재 삼성전자는 TV용 어플리케이션 스토어 ‘삼성앱스’를 세계 최초로 개발, 운영 중에 있고, 구글 OS를 적용한 TV를 개발할 경우 TV-PC-스마트폰 간의 다양한 어플리케이션 활용이 가능해집니다. 본 프로젝트는 기존의 구글TV OS를 기반으로 삼성전자의 아이덴티티를 적용하여 리디자인 된 것으로, ALLSHARE나 DAILY BRIEF 등 삼성전자의 미디어 공유 및 차별화 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.
